A little about Sasha
Sasha started her dance journey at just 3 years old, in the studio of Mrs. Patricia Aldredge in Kailua on the island of Oahu. She danced her way through ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatics. She loved the performances, the costumes, the excitement of getting ready for a big show. Mrs. Aldredge also helped her love of dance by taking her to one of her first professional Dance Co. performances. Watching these amazing dancers on stage brought out an excitement in her. That is when Sasha knew she wanted to live a dance filled life. As she grew she was asked to be a teacher for the younger classes. The love of teaching dance was born! In high school, Sasha went on to win a national award as "All American Cheerleader" for dance. Sasha went on to study a variety of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and even belly dancing.
Sasha Knowles Dance studio was established in 2010. The first class was cheerleading.

It is not about the perfection of the dance steps at Sasha Knowles Dance, but rather the connection. Connection to our own bodies. Connection to each other. Connection to the joy of movement. Connection of performing for an audience (but only if you want to!).
Dancers move at their own pace, celebrating the growth each step of the way. Sasha Knowles Dance believes that every dancer is a star and will discover how to shine!!
